Ingredients
1 lb. of each, Hamburger and Mild Italian sausage1 large onion, diced
4 stalks of celery, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 cans Petite diced tomatoes
1 jar of Pammy Sue's Salsa (any flavor) I use Roasted Jalapeno
2 Tab. Chili Powder
2 Tab. Cumin
1 Tab. Red Pepper flakes
1 envelope of McCormick Chili Seasoning (Hot)
1 15.5 oz.can Chili Beans
1 15 oz. can Black Beans
1 15 oz. can Kidney Beans
2 8 oz. cans Tomato Sauce
Directions
In a large pot or Dutch oven. Brown the hamburger and sausage. When browned, add celery, onions, and bell pepper. Cook till tender. About 5-6 minutes. Drain off fat. Then add the remaining ingredients. Stir pot well, then bring to a boil. Cover tightly with lid and turn down to simmer. Cook 4 hours stirring ever hour.
